I received a special request to photograph young cousins who would be together Christmas week. Special because two of the cousins were new additions to the families — just two and three months old! And special because one of the moms was a close friend of mine in high school. I loved seeing her and her young family, and how fun to return to a house where I hung out through much of my teen years!
The timing was actually amazing — after all of the holiday card rush in November, and final production and editing for clients in December, the days before Christmas were blissfully unscheduled for me. Which meant I could relax and really enjoy this morning behind the camera.
Sessions like this are all about togetherness. My high school friend and her family had flown in from the Midwest, and all were gathered at the grandparents’ house. It’s all about having the four children together, keeping them all happy and comfortable, and just having fun while we captured photographs of them all together. A sweet reminder, amidst all the chaos and parties and excitement, of what the holidays are all about. Enjoy this peek at their session!
