I love when clients have a clear vision of what they want for a photo shoot. This mama had a location in mind that she’d been to with her kids, and she knew exactly the look she wanted — put together but casual, natural yet refined, and in shades of blues and whites. Her boys showed off how comfortable they were as they rolled down the hill and jumped off the stone walls (after the photos were done, of course!).

Her gorgeous hair was the perfect pop of color, as well as the baby’s navy dress. Color theory here, but orange-red is directly across the color wheel from blues, so truly the perfect accent!

Last thing: Their au pair came to the session so we could take a few photos of her and the kids and her with the whole family. What a perfect gift to give her?! Enjoy this peak at their fall mini-session.
