I was so lucky to fly to Colorado to take this sweetheart’s newborn photos right before the pandemic. In early February this strange new virus was starting to gain traction in the United States, I prayed during the weeks leading up that it wouldn’t keep me from making this trip. She arrived just in time, and I felt so fortunate to see her mama and meet her!

This mama — a dear friend from high school — knew that no matter what, she wanted to be a mother. This little girl has completed her world, and honestly, I don’t think I’ve met a sweeter, more chill, perfect baby. Her mama has created a wonderfully calm, peaceful, routine home for her and at just 12 days old, Baby G. was thriving in it. I’m in awe of these two beautiful ladies and the love between them.
