Cake, cookies, and home decor is pretty much a dream photo shoot! This branding session was part cakes, part home design and decor. The photos were holiday pics for Caroline’s Cakes, a family-run cake business that makes the most delicious treats that are perfect for holidays, parties, and the like.  Devon McCombs of McCombs Interiors hosted the session, and we were also capturing how she would arrange a table leading up to the holidays.

I love doing branding sessions for small businesses, whether it’s for social media or websites. The power of visual marketing can’t be underestimated, and collaborating with other women on their businesses is so fulfilling. this is their coconut cake… my personal favorite is the seven-layer caramel cake, which my family’s been buying on the Eastern shore of Maryland for years. I love how this business has grown and thrived!

the salted caramel cake bites are amazing, and these cheddar biscuits…. so good!! this session made me want to throw a dinner party just so I could order both of these.
