As this year’s fall mini sessions approach, I want to share some of last year’s mini session photos taken at McGrillis Gardens. This spot offers some of the prettiest morning light, with a truly golden glow through the trees. The paths offer a perfect fall backdrop that the sun peeks through, and they’re a great place to play ‘red light / green light’ with little kids! Take a look:

The late afternoon is equally as beautiful, with a soft light throughout. This park has the prettiest dark green foliage that is perfect for fall photographs. Looking back, I feel so lucky to have the most wonderful clients — I’ve photographed so many of these families year after year, and I just love watching their children grow up and catching up with each one of these families every fall.
