This newborn session took place in the family’s beautiful Capitol Hill row home. The home decor showed a really crisp and clean style, so we made sure to keep that vibe in the newborn photos, so they’d match the home when on display. They have a spot with great natural light on their upstairs landing by the balcony door, and it provided the perfect backdrop for more studio-style shots.

In the nursery, the couple had hung posters from Switzerland, which they called home for many years, above the crib. We of course took family shots in front of those, since they told so much of the family’s story. Enjoy this peak at their at-home, lifestyle newborn session!
